Maple Leaf Communications (MLC) was founded to address the needs of today’s complex organizations. Unlike traditional agencies, we operate as part of your leadership team. Our past experience running marketing at global technology organizations had provided us with the insight and experience you need to ensure your marketing program is tied to corporate objectives and delivers results.
Great marketing begins with a strong foundation, and we enjoy working to drive innovation and grow brands. Our strength in handling all aspects of marketing and communications, inclusive of marketing leadership and strategy, brand development, website redesign and online management, as well as targeted multi-channel campaigns, and drawing on internal and external resources as necessary is what differentiates Maple Leaf Communications from the rest.
Leadership Team

Julia Wilton
Julia is the founder and chief strategist of Maple Leaf Communications. With over 20 years’ experience as a brand strategist and executive marketer, she is responsible for the creation of several award-winning global marketing programs representing brands across the technology industry. Julia’s work is informed by her deep understanding of customer experience in a B2B and B2C environment, along with the unique challenges they face in today’s marketplace.
She is the Web Strategy Chair on the American Marketing Association (AMA) DC board and a Senior Mentor and Advisor for the Marketing Mentor Network.

Marie Knowles
Marie is an award-winning communicator who is passionate about developing strategic brand-building programs for public companies and innovative start-ups. Her experience spans a variety of industries including music and entertainment, satellite and telecom, e-commerce, children's products, and blockchain marketing communications.

She is VP of Programming on the America Marketing Association (AMA) Colorado board.
